Saving Legume Seeds (Beans/Peas/Broad Beans etc)

To save legume seeds, leave some pods on the plant and allow them to grow to their maximum size and dry on the vine before harvesting. Shell them from their pods. Ensure the seeds are fully dry before storing in air tight containers. If they require more drying this can be done in a paper bag. Then store in cool dry conditions. Seeds will remain viable for at least 2-3 years.
