Squash – Spaghetti
A delicious squash/pumpkin with a stringy flesh that can be used as a replacement to wheat spaghetti in meals. Fruits up to 30cm long which grow on a trailing vine, starting green when immature and ripening to a bright yellow. Best eaten by cutting fruits in half and placing skin side up in a baking dish to roast in a hot oven until soft. Then remove the flesh into its spaghetti strands with a fork, removing the seeds.
Sow: Direct or raise in seed punnets. Requires full sun, 1m spacing.
